GCSE Results Day: Enrolling for Sixth Form

Good Luck getting your GCSE Results!

We really hope you are pleased with your results when you get them, and are looking forward to joining us for Sixth Form. On GCSE results day, we need to get you fully enrolled and ready to start in September.

GCSE RESULTS DAY:

All students wishing to join our Sixth Form need to formally enrol for Sixth Form.

This will take place at NTC, place on Thursday 24th August, 9am-1pm (for current and external students).

A member of staff will check your GCSE results, confirm your subject choices and send you on your way – the entire process takes about 15 minutes for most students.  It will also allow us to organise your timetable and swipe cards ready for September.

If, on Results Day, you wish to change your subject choices, you have achieved a grade in a subject (or many subjects) that suggests that you should change your subjects or you have not met the entry criteria for your chosen subject(s), then you will be directed towards a member of staff to talk through your options. This might mean that you have to wait but please bear in mind that the wait is nothing in comparison to starting you off on the right courses for the next two years from September.

If on results day, you are not able to attend, please email sixthform@ntc.kent.sch.uk, and we will confirm the next steps.

Save the Date: Year 12 Induction Day will be on Friday 1st September 2023, 8.45am-12.00pm

Our Pathways to Success

This diagram shows the different routes through our Sixth Form, and we have a pathway designed for those from all starting points.

For those not yet ready for Level 3, we have a Level 2 Progression route that feeds into our Level 3 courses as part of a three year programme.  Our other pathways are designed with particular future routes in mind.

In all cases, our students have a Learning Coach and dedicated Independent Careers Advisor on hand to offer advice throughout your time with us.
