Term 6 Baseline Lessons

As we approach the end of the school year and you’ve had time to recover from your exams, we are inviting you to join us for the start of the induction process. This will give you the opportunity to meet some of the teachers and team who you’ll be working with in September and some of the students who will be in your class. This will also help us get to know you and your ability in order  to plan effectively for your lessons.

LESSONS:

During the week beginning Monday 3 July 2023, and the week beginning Monday 10 July 2023, there will be some subject specific sessions run throughout the days.

You will see below, a timetable showing when the sessions will take place. Each subject has been allocated one two hour session, helping you get a feel for the subject.  You only need to attend sessions for the Level 3 subjects you will be taking in September.

For internal students who were here in Year 11, please bring your swipe card to access your laptop should you need it!

Other Information:

• You are not required to wear school uniform; however, you should be dressed smartly - no hoodies/trainers.

• Please sign in and out at reception - you will be required to wear a visitor label

• You are welcome to remain on site between the sessions (if you have a break/gap between sessions) or you may leave. 

• If you wish to remain on site, please bring a packed lunch/refreshment

• Please note, where organising travel arrangements, e-scooters are not permitted on site

• Basketball and Football academy students will need to bring your kit for the practical sessions at the end of each day!
